  Entry & Visa Requirements: Most Passport holders get on arrival 4 months turist visa. Please check requirements with Fiji Imigration if you may be a Visa ecempt country passportholder. 

Banking & Currency: Local currency is the Fijian Dollar. Major credit cards are accepted at most tourist facilities. Banks in Fiji are Westpac, ANZ, National Bank of Fiji and Bank of Hawaii.
ATM services are found on the Main Island and in Towns of  some smaller islands.  Further out islands do NOT hav ATM, there is local cash only.

Tipping: is not necessary in Fiji, special services may can appreciated with small amounts. 

Taxi: The taximeter must used. For long  trips negotiate a fixed price.
Medical & Health
Hospitals and  doctors are located throughout Fiji. On the  small islands are health centers that provide minor medical services. The Fiji iIslands are free from most tropical diseases. Some vaccinations may be recommended. Bring medication and prescrption if you need to take regular medicine. Pleasecheck with your physician and  get Travel Health Insurance.

Water:
Bottled water is sold everywhere. Tap water is safe in towns, hotel and most resorts. 

Shopping:
Urban areas have supermarkets, hardware store, local markets sell produce, fruit and fish. Banks, postal service, restaurants....

Language: English is the official language. Fijian, Urdu and Hindustani are widely spoken by the locals.

Religion: Primary religion are Methodist and Hinduism, with Catholic and Muslim minorities.
Fiji is a multi cultural society with about 50% Fijian, 46% Indians and 4% other.
