The transport within Fiji is well served by domestic airlines that provide often direct onward flights to international arrivals. To Ovalau, there are two daily flights on Air Fiji, either from Nadi (via Suva) to Levuka, or from Suva to Levuka. The airline operates Twin-Otters or similar aircraft that allow spectacular island views during the flight.

Patterson Brothers Ferry Service: daily transport, this is a bus and ferry service. The bus leaves Suva at 1.00pm and takes two and a half hours to drive to Natovi Landing. There, it drives on to the ferry for the one hour crossing to Ovalau Island. Then it takes another hour to drive around the island to Levuka. c.. Northern Air Services is Fiji's domestic carrier fly to Levuka daily from Monday to Saturday, departing Nausori (Suva) Airport at 8.00am for the twelve minute scenic flight to Levuka.
